Christianity in Jordan

Christians as a whole form 7% of the total population of Jordan. Jordanian Christians are mostly Greek Orthodox, but also some Catholics, Coptics, Protestants and other derivatives of Christianity. Jordan's Christians come from many different backgrounds, mostly Ghassanids (an Arab tribe), Palestinians, and Nabataeans.
