Christina Dodd is a best-selling American author of romance novels.

Dodd is the youngest of three daughters (her sisters are 8 and 10 years older than she is) whose father died before she was born. Dodd attended college in Boise, Idaho, where she met her husband. After graduation, she worked as a draftsman in an engineering firm, designing a sawmill, until her first child was born. At that point she decided to stay at home with her daughter and try to write a book. Fame did not come quickly, though, and Dodd did take a part-time job at a local bookstore so that she could learn what people like to read. Ten years later, after the arrival of a second child and having completed three manuscripts, she sold her first novel, Candle in the Window. Her novels have since been translated into twelve languages and regularly appear on the New York Times and USAToday Bestseller Lists. Dodd has even appeared as a clue in the Los Angeles Times crossword puzzle (on November 18, 2005).

Dodd and her family have lived in California and Idaho, but currently reside in Texas.
