Chryso (Greek: Χρύσω), is a village in the municipality of Viniani in the Greek prefecture of Evrytania. It is located in the mountains. Agios Serafeim is situated with a road linking Molos and Agios Konstantinos and the GR-38 (Agrinio - Karpenissi - Lamia). The 2001 population was 121 for the village and 146 for the municipal district. The elevation is approximately 750 m, it is located near the Tourla rapids. Ekkara is linked with the road linking Nea Monastiri Domokou and Leontari. Chryso is located 53 km NW of Karpenisi, SW of Lamia and north of the Aitoloakarnania prefectural boundary.

The main industry are olive productions. Due to the many springs, for the centuries supplied the village. Chryso was struck by an earthquake in 1966 which destroyed much of its buildings, the village was rebuilt later.
The only attractions are a spring and has stone-built bridges of the 15th century. The bridges are located near the length of a small river called Chrysiotis (Greek: Χρυσιώτης)

Chryso has a school, churches, and a square (plateia). The nearest lyceum (middle school) and secondary school (high school) are in Viniani.
