[[1]]Christian Dionne Phillips a.k.a. "CP" was born March 17, 1986 and raised in Los Angeles California. In 2001 he decided to get in touch with the very culture that created him, Hip Hop. With unbelievable "off the top" freestyles and authentic song concepts he took local open mic venues, street cyphers and battles by storm. His first experience with an open microphone was at the very famous Project Blowed located on 43rd and Leimert in Los Angeles California. For 2 years straight he rocked the stage without the crowd taunting him or passing the mic. In 2005/2006 he got more in touch with his battling side at "The Pit: Westcoast Rap Battles" located in West Los Angeles California. He off the bat shocked the crowd and Host of the Pit "Stix" with his freestyling skills. Even though he lyrically demolished competition the crowd was not pleased enough to hand him the crown. Finally, after rounds and rounds of lyrical combat he took the very crown that he felt was robbed from him so many times. Little is known about if he is still the crown holder but by the looks of his songs " Let's Slide", "Get Em' Up", "Chillin Wit A Boss", and "What you Do" we can guess he hasn't given up of his dream of being One of the illest emcee's alive in the years to come.
