Chunchanakatte Falls

Chunchanakatte Falls is a waterfall on the Kaveri River, near the village of Chunchanakatte in Mysore district, Karnataka, India. Water cascades from a height of about 20 meters.[1] It is in the Western Ghats.[2] Here the river falls in two small cascades before joining again to flow as one.[3]

To reach this place one has to take a diversion at KR Nagar on the Mysore-Hasan highway.
While driving from Mysore towards Hasan, take a left at the 1st circle in the town of KR Nagar. Immediately after taking left, one has to take right on a small road. The falls are at a distance of about 15 Kms from KR Nagar.
The road is good up to KR Nagar. After that the village road takes over.
