Cinnamon sugar

Cinnamon sugar is a mixture of ground cinnamon and granulated sugar used as a spice for desserts. While premixed versions are available commercially, it is simple to prepare at home.

If the above is too cinnamony, one can lessen the amount of cinnamon—1/4 cup granulated sugar to 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon.
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar to 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon.
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar to 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
- 1/4 cup (30g) granulated sugar mixed with 2-3 tsp. (20-30g) ground cinnamon.
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar to 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon.

- Cinnamon toast. Toasted bread, spread with a butter-cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Cinnamon rolls.
- Coffee cake.
- French toast.
- Fried dough (beaver tails).
- Kuchen.
- Monkey butter.
- Pączki or pampushky. A kind of Polish or Ukrainian doughnut hole that can be topped with cinnamon sugar.
- Porridge.
- Raisin bread.
