The logo in question is that of Canadian Interuniversity Sport. I have e-mailed the organization to obtain permission to use their image and am awaiting an answer. DMighton 19:12, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

It is not a matter of "licensing". They are telling you to notify them of its usage to prevent exploitation of the logo as it is a nationally recognized emblem. DMighton 21:37, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

I asked him in specific: "I am asking for permission for the logo to be used on Wikipedia as a fairuse copyrighted image". It is the CIS's understanding that their logo will get the same respect as Taco Bell's or PetSmart's... I seriously hope that is ;ast I will have to think about it.
