CityEl
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The CityEl is a 3-wheel light electric car that is, for the most part, produced in Europe.[citation needed]
The CityEl had been developed as the Mini-El from the Danish company El Trans As in Randers and brought onto the market in 1989. After the development company had to give up production in 1991, a German investor took over and moved the company to Aub. The production is now in Kitzingen.
The vehicle is for one person. A child up to 8 years can sit behind the front seat on the engine compartment facing backwards.
[edit] Technical specifications
The older version had three lead acid batteries with a 45 to 55 km/h top speed and a range from 40 to 50 km. The consumption was 7 to 9 kW·h/100 km. However, the new version FactFour has four lead acid batteries, a much better electric engine that provides a 63 km/h top speed and 70 to 90 km range. The consumption is 3.5 to 5 kW·h/100 km.
