Claudiopolis (Cataonia)

Claudiopolis (Greek: Κλαυδιόπολις, city of Claudius) was an ancient city of Cataonia mentioned by Ptolemy (v. 7). From its name one can adduce that it was named for Roman emperor Claudius.
