Clayton Bridge railway station

Clayton Bridge railway station opened in 1844, in Clayton Bridge near Clayton Vale in Clayton, Manchester. The station became a victim of the Beeching Axe, closing in 1968. The signal box was also used to operate the level crossing gates. Nothing remains of the station.
