Talk:Classical music and folk music

I simply moved the list from european classical music. I am not endorsing the entries, or any omissions. Stirling Newberry 17:50, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
I added two obvious omissions that came to mind. Liszt, of course, was famous for his Hungarian Rhapsodies, as well as Italian- and Spanish-based compositions, all of which availed themselves of folk tunes. And Chopin was the first great Western classical composer to introduce Slavic elements in his music. Young Kreisler 21:19, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
