Born in Glasgow in 1983, but brought up in Neilston, East Renfrewshire. I gre up always being interested in History, and with the habbit of playing in the dirt, as well as digging holes in my parents back garden. I also wanted to be a writer from the age of 10. After spending nine months in England and finally getting enough Highers, I went to Glasgow University to study Archcaeology and Scottish Literature, and I did my Honours disertation on the Scottish Influences on the Sherlock Holmes stories. I'm working as an Archaeologist at the moment, but going back to Glasgow to get a PostGrad Diploma.
