Clifton, Queensland

Clifton is a town in the Darling Downs region of Queensland, Australia. It is the administrative centre of the Clifton Shire Council. The lands around the town was first settled by Europeans in 1840.
The town is situated just west of the New England Highway, about 50 kilometres south of Toowoomba and 150km west of Brisbane.
