Wikipedia's spam blacklist, at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Spam_blacklist, is open to any search engine operator that wants to find out what sites Wikipedia considers spam. Within Wikipedia, being on the blacklist means that links to your site cannot be added to an article. Articles already containing a link to your site cannot be saved after being edited; editors must first remove the link.
There are some indications that search engine operators are starting to use the Wikipedia blacklist when compiling their own list of sites to be automatically excluded from search results.
