Clovis Wests' School newspaper, The Vantage, is often considered of the highest caliber and has been known to win Journalism competitions against College papers.
[edit] Athletics
Clovis Wests athletics department, although known for various student scandals, houses many district and state titles, and has brought home the "Athletic Supremacy" award nearly every single year since its creation. Recently, it has been somewhat of a public scandal that a Harvard-bound student attempted, and was caught, to take the SAT for another student with an athletic scholarship to UC Berkeley. The scholarship was rescinded, and it has yet to be seen what happens to the Harvard-bound graduate.
