[edit] The loop is not a Möbius strip
A Möbius strip only has one side. But as you can see from that card's drawing, it clearly has two sides: a red and a yellow. If you let your finger follow the red side, it will never touch the yellow side and vice-versa. It is instead, the symbol for infinity (∞), which makes more sense if you think about it anyways. --SeizureDog 01:16, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
- The Möbius strip is a symbol often used by the Japanese to refer to something infinite. ja:メビウスの帯: "表裏を辿っていっても、どこまでも終わりがない事から、「無限」を意味したりする事もある。また、模型にした時の形から、「無限大 = ∞」を表すことも多い。" --Kunzite 18:17, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
- But the drawing on the card (nor its appearance in the anime) does not show that it's one-sided, which is necessary for it to be called a Möbius strip. It's merely a loop (that happens to be twisted so it looks like an infinity symbol). --Crisu 01:31, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
- Because the drawing does not strictly adhere precisely to a mathematical definition of a geometric stucture does not eclipe the fact that it was influenced by a likely based upon a Möbius strip. In Japanese culture (as cited above) refers to concept of infinity "無限". The alternate name of a Möbius strip in Japanese is Möbius Loop (メビウスの輪 mebiusu no rin?) which uses the same kanji as the card. "Möbius Strip" or not, it is seen as one. I will re-add with references.

[edit] Return Card Image
I don't suppose it's of great importance, but I have seen another image of the Return card inwhich she is holding a blue clock instead of the sand timer. I missed "Shrine of Memories" when it was captured and the card image was never actually shown on the episode where Return is transformed. So I don't know which image is the original. Bubble bunny
