Under the name of Cassandra, while I was in the Family I wrote an article detailing how to get the best results from using Escort agencies.

This article was published in the a book circulated by the Family. Using Escort agencies was seen as an alternate to going to bars to meet lonely men.

You were definitely paid to have sex and this was not condemned in the Family and many "sisters" used this avenue for meeting men and raising money.

So although judges may have never found us guilty, it is because we were so blinded ourselves, thinking even when receiving money we were having sex because we "loved" these men.

If prostitution is having sex for money, then that is definitely what we did. Even if we deluded ourselves in thinking we were doing it for God and love.

We had a name for what we did in the Family in and it was "es'ing". This was not limited to just a few women. Anyone (males included) were encouraged to do it for "God".

So I find your article full of double speak, not addressing the truth of the matter. We were definitely prostitutes, and it's very sad that you try and promote a lie that we were not.

I recieved personal encouragement from David Berg himself, encouraging me for the great 'work' I did in the Escort Service. This was not a thing that was done hidden from other members.

Hello Cassandra. I met you briefly many years ago. Are you the EBW posting from France? I will look up your article if I can find it and see what you said. Although it is probably no longer in circulation. Just as a question, why did you start up an Escort Agency? Did you receive a request to do so from someone in authority in the Family or was it your own idea? I think that would have a large bearing on the debate here. --Cognomen

I never said I started an Escort Agency, I worked for one. This was after hearing leadership testimonies of it being done in other countries. To answer your other question, I am not EBW. --203.61.73.44

Yes I realized that you weren't EBW soon after I asked and I should have deleted that part of the question. So you didn't start and escort agency in Sydney? Funny because I have heard from several people that you did. I would be curious to hear which leadership told you testimonies of it being done in other countries. I find these allegations of Cassandra allegedly starting an escort agency to be wholly irrelevant to the issue she raised. As noted, the Family circulated this book to members around the world, and actively encouraged "Escort Servicing". Family women were told by Berg to be "whores for Jesus" and "may it pay".
