The Colo Colo or Colocolo, is a malignant creature pertaining to mapuche mythology.

Its aspect differs slightly according to the zone of Chile. For Mapuches the Colo Colo has serpent form and can be transformed into rat with pens. In the south of Chile, the Huilliches represents like a long mouse with head of rooster.
The Colo Colo born of the egg incubated by a "rooster", and would feed taking the saliva of sleeping people. Commonly live in the corners or cracks of the houses, and the malignant creature would be identified living in the home, if peoples listen an animal that cries from an identical way to human newly born.
