- This user would prefer the username coldacid. The initial letter is capitalized because of technical limitations.
coldacid, better known by his birth name, Christopher S. Charabaruk, is a student and computer game developer in Pickering, Ontario. A former student of George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario, he is a co-founder of the Toronto Independent Games Conference[1], a coordinator of the IGDA Indie SIG, and a known personality at GameDev.net. coldacid has been a programmer since the age of 6 and shows no signs of stopping any time soon, although thanks to the Internet is nowhere near as productive as he used to be.
coldacid is a rabid fan of anime and manga, and is a staff member for Anime North, in (naturally) the games department. He is an executive of his anime club, UTARPA, as well as sergeant at arms of Toast I.T. Toastmasters[2].
As of April 2006, coldacid is 23 years old.
