Commencement was Deadsy's second album never to be commercially released. It came very close but was dropped due to the number tracks having been re-used from the past and also for label issues with there own holders. Most of the tracks have been released on the official Commencement release.

- "Macroprosopus" is misspelled on the back of this album. Thus, the misspelling "Macroposopus" is in the above tracklisting. This was announced as a typo by the band and later fixed on the 2002 version.
- Most of the tracks later reappeared on the official release, but with slightly different mixing and timings. Therefore they are not technically the same versions.
