Competitive-edge competency

Competitive-edge competency is a human resources terminology describing the ability and traits of a person doing a certain task at a certain job level.
Often shortened as "edge competency", this term simply asks, "Is this guy the only guy that can do this job in this department?" If so, it means that the employee "has edge competency" or "is edge competent". This term is usually seen written in HR evaluations, and normally is not a spoken word.
