Conception from a feminist point of view

Conception from a feminist point of view has been discussed by a number of feminist writers. These writers have challenged the notion of the active sperm versus the passive egg, pointing out that the egg is 'active' in a chemical sense in the selection of a sperm (Hogan 2006).
