Concilio Interfraternitario Puertorriqueño de la Florida

The Concilio Interfraternitario Puertorriqueño de la Florida, Inc. (CIPFI) is an umbrella council for the Florida chapters of 5 Puerto Rican Greek Letter Fraternities established in 2002. It is a non profit organization, who whithout charging couta joins the members of the largest and oldest Puerto Rican fraternities.

On de September 1, 2001, on a meeting of the Orlando chapter of Phi Eta Mu fraternity, its chapter president, Dr. Carlos Albizu mentioned the lack of presence of members of the other four Puerto Rican fraternities in their annual tour. Dr. Albizu asked Eduardo Emmanuelli to try and establish links. By invitation of Nu Sigma Beta brother Antonio Amadeo,Mr. Emmanuelli went to a Nu Sigma Beta meting on December 5, 2001. The Nu Sigma Beta brothers showed such interest that members form the remaining three Fraternities were Invited. January 12, 2002 on "El Viajante" restaurant the first meeting of CIPFI took place.
