Conde

Conde is a title of nobility in Spanish and Portuguese. In English, the title is Count or Earl. The female form is Condesa in Spanish and Condessa in Portuguese. The territory of a Conde is called a Condado (Portuguese/Spanish), equivalent to Countship. However the title did have different meanings in different historical periods.
Conde is also a surname known to be from Spain and Portugal. And it is also a French surname, spelled Condé.
