The Congressional Youth Leadership Council (CYLC) is a nonpartisan, United States based organization that is also open to young people from other countries and has been in operation since 1986. The scholars have to undergo nomination and selection process to be chosen for placement in the program. The program is designed to provide the scholars with a "distinguished academic environment" to enable them to improve their opportunities in becoming world leaders.
