[edit] History
The school is named after the Conner family of Hebron, who donated the land due to overcrowding in nearby Boone County High School, located in Florence, Ky. Established in 1970, Conner opened with less than 600 students in 10th through 12th grades, and graduated 136 students in 1971. Today Conner has graduated nearly 6000 students.[2] Upon the opening of Ryle High School, Conner had the lowest student population of any of the three Boone County public high schools. After a significant population boom between 2000 and the present, Conner has grown to become the most populated school in the top three counties of Northern Kentucky.[citation needed]
