Connie Osterman

Constance "Connie" Elaine Osterman was a politician from Alberta, Canada.
Connie was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the first time in the 1979 Alberta general election for the Progressive Conservative Association of Alberta.
Connie served the government as Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs.[1] She was fired from her cabinet post by Premier Don Getty after the principal group scandle came to light. [2] Connie was the 5th woman in Alberta political history to be appointed to a portfolio in the provincial cabinet. [3]
Connie served 4 terms total in the government caucus before resigning from the legislature on May 5, 1992. [4]
Connie is also an avid Bridge player, [5] and has served on the board of directors for the Head Injured Relearning Society in Calgary. [6]
