[edit] Collegiate career
Gill played lacrosse for the University of Virginia, teaming with Jay Jalbert to win an NCAA championship in 1999. Gill was a three-time All-American making first-team twice. He is also ranked fifth all-time in career points at UVA with 77 assists and 146 goals for 223 points in 59 games.[1].
[edit] Professional career
In 2002, Gill won the Major League Lacrosse Rookie of the Year Award. In the 2004 season, after scoring 67 points (3 points short of the record), Gill was named Major League Lacrosse MVP. Gill also had a record high 40 assists in that season. In the 2006 MLL season Conor Gill was at the top of his game with a total of 62 points (leading the league) and five two-point goals [2], unusual for an attackman. On March 21, 2007, Gill, along with Ryan Curtis, was traded to the Washington Bayhawks in exchange for Mikey Powell, Ben DeFelice, and a 2008 conditional draft choice.[3]
