Consafos
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Consafos is a four piece band from Los Angeles, California and Omaha, Nebraska. Made up of four veteran musicians from such bands as Topeka, Ritual of Defiance, Glasscraft, and current members of Bright Eyes and The Good Life, their compositions are as intricate as they are gripping, melding punk and rock inspired melodies into a grounded whole which ends up slightly reminiscent of a lounge act. Well, a lounge act with heart, at any rate.
Consafos, whose name means "such is the way of things", have been together for four years now and are continuing to write, record, and tour. Their long awaited debut full-length was released in April of 2005.
