Beginning

Convicted are a 5 piece Heavy Rock, Stoner Rock band from Sudbury, Suffolk. They formed in late 2005. The original line up consisted of Lori Owens: Vocals, Tim Hackford: Lead Guitar, Dave Sansom: Bass, Andy Hill: Rhythm Guitar and Robert Palmer: Drums.

The bands first gig was at RockFest V3 in Early 2006 there peformance of RHCP californication and Greendays Boulevard of broken dreams was received well by most but the band were not to happy with their performance despite it being there first gig. This was followed by months with a lack of consistent practice. With Lori becoming ever busier and increasingly unreliable in attending practice they decided it was time for a change so she left the band and Andy Hill took over the job of vocals. Autumn 2006 saw the band being asked to record a track for a local bands complation cd. This reqeust got them thinking moreabout original material and around this time there first orignal song "i don't know" was created and recorded prioir to recording Sansom had let the band know of his desire to leave due to other commitments mainly his other band. This saw the band down to a three piece for now, despite attempts to find a bassist who could effectively fill Dave shoes they were unseccesful and in late 2006 Andy took over bass duties however giving up singing in the process.

2007

After considering several different vocalists they found Sam Milton who has fitted in the band well and with the arrival of Sam came the arrival of Charlie Sibson as a second guitarist. With a solid platform the band has started focusing on writing orignal material and have plans to record through out 2007. There performance at rockfest V4 was noted by many as a massive change for the better since last years performance. The current line up consists of Sam Milton: Lead Vocals, Tim Hackford: Lead Guitar, Andy Hill: Bass and backing vocals, Charlie Sibson: Guitar and Robert Palmer: drums.
