User talk:Considered

If you want your edits to UK to be taken seriously, how about you use your real login instead of this sockpuppet? AlistairMcMillan 16:18, 25 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Hey, Considered. Just a note of encouragement and an apology for maybe sounding a bit disparaging of you in the "United Kingdom" Discussion page. It's really easy to take criticisms to heart but don't get dragged down to their level - I mean have you read some of the user profiles of the guys you've had run ins with, and also note the times they write their responses. There are some serious saddos on this site for whom Wikipedia seems to be their entire life. Keep this in mind when you feel you're getting it from all sides ... in their eyes you're invading the closest thing they have to a social life, not to mention their pathetic notion of self validation. The important thing though is that you aren't put off from making edits in future. If we let those guys scare the rest of us off, Wikipedia will degenerate into a biased and hence invalid waste of cyberspace.
