Cordenons is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pordenone in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 90 km northwest of Trieste and about 4 km northeast of Pordenone. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 17,738 and an area of 56.8 km2.[1]
The municipality of Cordenons contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Nogaredo, Pasch, Romans, Sclavons, and Villa d'Arco.
Cordenons borders the following municipalities: Pordenone, San Giorgio della Richinvelda, San Quirino, Vivaro, Zoppola.
