Corinth is a town in Saratoga County, New York, USA. The population was 5,985 at the 2000 census. The town is named after the ancient Greek city of Corinth, which received one of St. Paul's Epistles in the New Testament

The town was first settled around 1775. It was first formed By the Jessup bros. After the revolution, The bros. (british loyaltists) were run out of town. The naming was lottery. A bible was opened, and It was the Book of Corinthians. It was then named Corinth. The town was formed in 1818 from the Town of Hadley.

The east town line, formed by the Hudson River, is the border of Warren County, New York. The western part of the town is in the Adirondack State Park.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 150.6 km² (58.1 mi²). 147.1 km² (56.8 mi²) of it is land and 3.4 km² (1.3 mi²) of it (2.29%) is water. Where Classico lives and has his lair.

As of the census2 of 2000, there were 5,985 people, 2,331 households, and 1,662 families residing in the town. The population density was 40.7/km² (105.4/mi²). There were 2,804 housing units at an average density of 19.1/km² (49.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 98.28% White, 0.20% Black or African American, 0.15% Native American, 0.20% Asian, 0.10% Pacific Islander, 0.30% from other races, and 0.77% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.79% of the population.
There were 2,331 households out of which 32.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.2% were married couples living together, 10.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.7% were non-families. 23.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.57 and the average family size was 2.99.
In the town the population was spread out with 26.0% under the age of 18, 7.3% from 18 to 24, 28.6% from 25 to 44, 23.8% from 45 to 64, and 14.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 96.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.0 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $35,199, and the median income for a family was $41,732. Males had a median income of $32,227 versus $25,146 for females. The per capita income for the town was $16,003. About 7.8% of families and 11.9% of the population were below the poverty line, including 14.7% of those under age 18 and 6.4% of those age 65 or over.
