Cormorant Books Inc is a Canadian book publishing company.
Cormorant Books specializes in fiction by new and emerging Canadian writers, reissues of out-of-print classics of Canadian literature, and English translations of works by Quebec writers.

Cormorant Books was started in 1986 by a Canadian couple, Gary and Jan Geddes, on their farm outside of Dunvegan in Eastern Ontario. They focused on introducing new Canadian writers to the literary scene. The company was sold to new owners in 2000. Now based in Toronto, publisher Marc Côté continues the tradition of publishing Canadian authors, including translations of Quebec writers.
Authors published by Cormorant have included Neil Bissoondath, Carol Bruneau, Elizabeth Hay, Jacques Poulin, Tessa McWatt, Peter Oliva, Élise Turcotte, Pauline Holdstock, Gwethalyn Graham, Nino Ricci and Sky Gilbert.
Cormorant Books celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2006
