Corona del Sol High School located in Tempe, Arizona, was established in 1977 and is a part of the Tempe Union High School District.
Corona is a closed boundary school that does not permit any outside students to attend. [2] In addition to this, Corona enforces a closed-campus policy. Students attending through grades 9, 10 and 11 may not leave campus without an adult checking them out for the day. Seniors are only permitted to leave campus with a special ID which can only be obtained with a signed and notarized parent permission form.

The school has over 100 clubs and activities including an school newspaper and yearbook, various sports teams, marching band, a choir program, orchestra, and a speech and debate team. A new and upcoming club available is the Corona Del Sol Pog Team. Mythology madness is cool too.
Corona del Sol has a large music and fine arts program, boasting four concert bands, an award winning marching band, two concert orchestras, as well as five choir classes, and a percussion program. Piano, Guitar, Percussion, and World Music (Steel Drums) are also offered. Other fine arts that students may take part in are Film Study, Stagecraft, Ceramics, Basic Art and Design, Photography, Drawing and Painting.

Phillip Bay has played a big role in all school activities and clubs. He has also been student body president for the past 3 years running for 4th. He is an active member of N.H.S. meaning National Honor Society. Along with the Rivas brothers they changed the school in many extreme ways
