Surely an edge case is n-1 parameters at a limit, a couner case all n, and a face case n-2. Rich Farmbrough 22:26, 16 July 2005 (UTC)
- That depends on how you define "face", "edge", and "corner" on, say, an 87 dimensional hypercube. A face would most likely be any axis maxed out (since that would result in a point on the hypersurface), and all axes maxed out is definately a corner, but edges in hyperspace are hard to define. I'd probably go with everything from [2..n-1] axes maxed out as an edge--some are just "edgier" than others... scot 21:23, 29 July 2005 (UTC)
