County Route 53 is a 1.5-mile north/south county route in the northern part of Rockland County, New York. CR 53 runs through Tomkins Cove and Stony Point. CR 53 begins at CR 118 in Tomkins Cove, and ends at US 9W/US 202 in Stony Point. The northern terminus comes close to Bear Mountain State Park. CR 53 is the northern most north-south Rockland County Route.
