Coup de Grâce (music)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Coup de Grâce was a multimedia project under which Michael Moynihan released recordings and print.
At age 15, Moynihan began making experimental industrial music, some of it power electronics, under the name Coup de Grâce. It became the name for a multimedia project under which name he operated from 1984-early 1989. In addition to cassettes and a live performance, booklets of images and texts were released, the last of which was an illustrated edition of Friedrich Nietzsche's The Antichrist.
In 1989, Moynihan formed the musical entity Blood Axis.
A track of Coup de Grâce was featured on the 1997 Men Among Mice CD compilation.
