[edit] History
The church was formerly a part of the CofE, but it withdrew from the denomination and organisation in 2001. They perceived the church to be of a comfortable, "safe" and out-dated form of Christianity, and started "crossing over" to a more in-touch, 21st-century-style church. Although the church prospered following the move, the period in which the change happened was a struggle for those in leadership, as many did not give their support. In June 2001, the church opened as Covenant Church, and now uses Carlton Central Junior School as a temporary venue every Sunday.
[edit] Covenant Media

Covenant Church believes that in order to reach the generation of today, media is an absolute key. Covenant Media was set up in order to deliver this. Covenant Church Podcasts, Live the Life Magazine and Daily Vitamins are just some of the ways in which they deliver Gods Message, yet in a up-to-date way.
[edit] Conferences

Every year the church runs Connections (for young people). The conference is attended by delegates from around the Nottingham and the UK. Started three years ago, the conference has a steady following and will be running again for 2007.
