Cozmic Cat

Cozmic Cat (born Paula Burrows) is a Canadian DJ who regularly performs in her native country and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She began her work in the Philadelphia area in the mid-1990s, spinning with and opening for artists such as Schoolly D, Jazzy Jeff, Bahamadia, De La Soul, and ?uestlove. In 1999, she was named "DJ on the rise" by the Philadelphia City Paper. The following year, she was named "Best DJ" by the City Paper, Philadelphia Magazine, Philadelphia's Citysearch.com. She has performed in New York City and Washington, DC.
However, the constant demands of work in Philadelphia took their toll; in 2003, she returned to Canada. That year, she co-founded a record label, From Philly With Love, which was included in URB Magazine's "Next 100" list in 2004.
