This place 20 miles from Tallahassee is not only not a town; it seems something of an anti-city experiment worth notice on the American scene. It would be interesting to know whether this real estate communion now grown to maybe 12-18,000 population is one of the largest and densest populations not touching any municipality nor continuous from one --in the U.S. It could be one of the largest and densest populations having no municipal peace officer. (With 2 tiny municipalities elsewhere accounting for less than 3 percent of Wakulla County's 27,000 people, it would be interesting likewise to know if this county seated in burgeoning Crawfordville may possibly be the most un-municipal for its size in the U.S.)
