About Me
I am an eighteen year old university student from the Pacific Northwest. I am currently taking a year off from academia (for the first time in thirteen years) to figure out what I want out of life and the best way of going about doing that. I registered this account in March of 2005 after an article about a webforum I ran got nominated for VfD (as it was called at the time). I didn't really get involved in the project until May of 2006 mainly working fighting vandalism. I had an incident with a user using my account for vandalism that I detail here. I use variously VP AWB but mainly just edit out of Firefox (so if my browser cuts off a page, sorry). I work on inproving on articles that I know, including creating and improving novel articles after I read them, and the philosophy of Objectivism. I am interested in maths, physics and philosophy, and I read compusivly. I think that Wikipedia the idea, Wikipedia the encyclopedia and Wikipedia the community are all fundemental to what Jimbo said: a world in which every single person on the planet is given free access to the sum of all human knowledge
