Critics' Awards for Theatre in Scotland
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Critics' Awards for Theatre in Scotland ("CATS") were inaugurated in May 2003, and are adjudicated by a panel of all the regular Scottish theatre critics.
In 2006 the new National Theatre of Scotland (NTS), with no building of its own, was nominated in seven out of a possible ten awards categories. NTS, which works in collaboration with existing companies and communities, won a total of six awards including Best Production for Roam, a site-specific performance staged at Edinburgh Airport in collaboration with Grid Iron theatre company.
