Crix Crax Crux is the name of a band led by Jacksonville, Florida-native Ben Moore, who goes by the stage-name Ben Crix. The band releases albums on Frigital Records, which is also owned and operated by Moore out of Durham, North Carolina. The band's sound is often described as minimalist lo-fi garage, or dream-pop. Their second album, Camel & Needle, was released in 2005 and was received with critical acclaim, most notably being listed as the album of the year by the indie-rock zine, Heraclitus Sayz.
