"Croatoan" is episode nine of the second season of the television series Supernatural. This episode deals with supernatural plagues.

Sam has a vision of Dean shooting a defenseless man, and they go to the town of Rivergrove, Oregon where they find the townspeople have been possessed by a virus that makes them violent.

- Dean made a remark about wanting to visit Hollywood and perhaps "get lucky and bang" Lindsay Lohan.
- The brothers use the pseudonyms "Billy Gibbons" and "Frank Beard"; both are founding members of the band ZZ Top.
- This episode references the disappearance of the second group of colonists on Roanoke Island who left behind nothing but the word 'CROATOAN' carved into a tree, suggesting they had moved to Croatoan Island.
