I've just reverted this edit of yours to Canon. I'm sure that your edit was well intended; however, the article is not about the word canon but instead is a disambiguation page that leads to various options, Canon (company) being among them. Perhaps Canon (company) is not as conspicuous as it should be in an age when the Canon brand and Canon products could well be better known than the sum of all the alternative meanings of "canon". And perhaps the disambiguation page should not have an etymological organization. So you are welcome to rearrange it -- but please don't make it seem as if the page is an article.
