DRAFT
The use of Wikipedia as a reference source by students has been widely debated. Here, I propose that students at the college level become contributers to Wikipedia as part of their educational experience.

[edit] Advantages to the student
The advantages are endless. The most important being the accessability. One can learn about any specific detail without getting confused by seeing a lot of pages with tons of information as in any other search engine. Though the validity of the information one receives here is questionable, it definitely gives an idea about the topic one is interested in. It only needs interest on the part of the student and a net connected system. No timings, no classrooms, no teachers. It is specially advantageous for students from those places of the world, where the required infrastructure is not available. I am talking here about school buildings, more teachers, etc.
