Customer-Facing Web
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Description for a User Interface which is intended to be utilized by external users. The term may be used to differentiate between internal and external systems in an organization even if the system is a pre-production system.
An example would be a company's revised pre-release online purchasing system that's used for quality assurance purposes where the final website will be used by the organization's external customers. While the system is in the testing phase it is still considered a Customer-Facing Web since that is its intended final audience.
