Cytomel

Cytomel is a pharmaceutical preparation containing triiodothyronine. Unlike synthroid, cytomel results in a rapid elevation in thyroid hormone levels that result in supraphysiological levels 2 to 6 hours after ingestion and a rapid clearance.
