Elizabeth Cook-Lynn (Reserva Crow Creek, Dakota del Sud 1930). Escriptora sioux. Filla d'un cap tribal, es graduà a la universitat de Dakota del Sud en anglès i periodisme. Professora a la Universitat de Nebraska, el 1977 fundà la revista Wicazo Sa Review. Ha escrit Then Badger Said This (1977), Seek the House of Relatives (1983), From the River's Edge (1991), The Politics of Hallowed Ground: Wounded Knee and the Struggle for Indian Sovereignty (amb Mario Gonzalez) (1998), Aurelia: A Crow Creek Trilogy (1999) i Anti-Indianism in Modern America: A Voice from Tatekeya's Earth(2001).
